David and Kay would like to welcome guests
old and new to Henwood Barns. We have recently taken over the property in February of 2006. We couldn't resist the
beautiful and stunning scenery of Bodmin Moor and found there is so much to do here from activites at Sibleyback Water Park
to Horse Riding at our local T.M International Riding School, which is 2 minutes walk from Henwood Barns. We have made
some changes to the barns and have now secured a 3 Star Rating from Quality in Tourism. We hope you will be as enchanted with Henwood Barns
as we are.
Three converted barns set around the original farmyard in
the unspoiled village of Henwood which is tucked under the edge of Bodmin Moor. These cottages are ideally
suited for walking the moors and touring Cornwall and Devon, being within easy access of the North
and South coasts. Already set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the area has now been awarded world heritage
status. We do welcome pets, but we request that they are dog and people friendly. We regret that the properties are not
wheelchair friendly.
NEW FOR EASTER 2009 WE INTRODUCE HENWOOD BARN

The cottages have been converted to a high standard while maintaining their original charm.
The cottages are fitted with wood burning stoves. They have bathrooms with both bath and shower facilities. The
barns overlook a courtyard that leads onto a garden with beautiful views over both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

at St Mellion and horse riding and climbing on Bodmin Moor.
Liskeard and Launceston are the nearest major shopping towns,
whilst there are several local country pubs (including the Jamaica Inn at Bolventor) offering excellent meals. Several local shops are available in villages nearby.
Bodmin Moor is on the doorstep providing stunning scenery all
year round and the area provides activities and attractions for everyone. The south
and north coast beaches, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Helligan, Tintagel Looe and Plymouth, are all
around 30 minutes away by car.
